SBI PO Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the SBI PO Exam, the candidate must meet the following two requirements:

  • Age Limit : Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 30, or born between April 2, 1992, and April 1, 2001 (both dates inclusive).
  • Educational Qualifications : The candidate must be a graduate of a recognised university in any field or have an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. Those in their last year/semester of studies may also apply provisionally, with the caveat that if they are invited for an interview, they must provide proof of passing the graduation exams. Candidates who hold an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must make sure that their IDD was completed on or before August 31, 2022. Candidates who have Chartered Accountant certification may also apply.

Relaxation Of The Upper Age Limit For Applicants In The Reserved Category:

  1. In the case of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) applicants, three years.
  2. 5 years in the case of applicants who are: (a) SC/ST. (b) Ex-servicemen (including Emergency Commissioned Officers/ Short Service Commissioned Officers) who have served in the military for at least five years and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year) other than by dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or/on account of physical disability or have been discharged or released on account of physical disability. (c) Candidates who resided in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu and Kashmir between January 1, 1980, and December 31, 1989.
